Basics of Searching

Find a topic below that relates to your question or concern:
Searching by Location
|
Every search engine, whether basic or advanced, requires a location to search. A location can be entered as a city, ZIP/Postal Code, or even a landmark. In some cases, the location you enter may return more than one possible match (such as "San Diego"). If this occurs, you will be asked to select the location you wish to search.
If you experience problems with the location-based search, consider the following:
- Spelling Verify that the words you entered are spelled correctly.
- Remove Abbreviations Type in the name of the location using the entire name without abbreviations. For example, type "Saint George" instead of "St. George" or "New York" instead of "NYC".
- Location Types Try searching for a different location type. For example, instead of entering a city, enter a ZIP/Postal Code or a landmark in the city.
If you have not done so already, try searching using our Advanced Search.

Searching by Category
|
View a list of national businesses offering discounts on their
products or services. No matter where you are, or plan to be, these offers will save you money. Each page also defines the category and
allows you to search for local (or non-national) offers in this category.
